Silk care
WASHING, DRYING AND IRONING
· Choose a liquid detergent specifically for wool or delicate fabrics, and avoid using fabric softener.
· Silk becomes more fragile when wet, so it's best to hand wash it in cold water. Do not leave it to soak for too long (3 to 5 minutes is enough) and avoid wringing it, as you could damage the fibers.
· Machine washing is possible if the label allows it. In that case, use the "cold hand wash" program and wash the garment with other items to protect it from rubbing against the drum. If your washing machine does not have this program, it is preferable to hand wash silk to avoid damage.
· We do not recommend tumble drying silk, as the fiber could be damaged and the garment could shrink.
· To dry the garment without wringing it, we suggest gently wrapping it in a towel and pressing carefully to remove excess water.
· Then, hang it on a hanger outdoors, avoiding direct sunlight so that the colors do not change.
· Iron the garment damp inside out.
· If it is already dry, you can use a damp cloth between the iron and the garment.
· Iron at a low temperature and do not use steam.
