Denim Care
WASH, DRY, AND IRON
How to care for raw or indigo denim:
Raw denim, which has not been washed, is characterized by being saturated with indigo, which means the dye can bleed. Unlike other cotton dyes that are absorbed into the core of the yarn, indigo is a pigmentary dye that stays on the surface without being fully absorbed. For this reason, it is common for the color to "bleed" slightly, especially at the beginning, creating a unique patina on the garment but also leaving possible indigo stains on shoes, white shirts, or furniture.
It is important to note that this is not a quality defect.
