Care for cotton and viscose garments
WASH, DRY, AND IRON
OPTION 1: Hand washing
Hand washing is ideal for preserving your knitwear. Use cold or lukewarm water (maximum 20°C). Wash gently, without stretching the fabric, to avoid distortion. Do not leave the garment soaking for too long to prevent felting. Rinse gently without wringing.
OPTION 2: Machine washing
You can also machine wash if the label allows. Make sure your washing machine has a special program with a gentle spin cycle.
· Never wring knitwear, and above all, forget about the dryer.
· Gently wrap the garment in a towel to remove excess water, without wringing it.
· We recommend drying on a towel and on a flat surface (table, bed, etc.).
· Don't forget to fold the sleeves so they don't stretch.
· Avoid stretching the knit, even slightly, and remember that the shape before drying will be the same once dry.
· Ironing is not necessary if washing and drying have gone well.
· If you iron your knitwear, take all necessary precautions:
Iron very gently inside out, do not press or crush the fabric, use an ironing board.
